My interest in science and healthcare has seen me working in the laboratory with tiny cells and DNA to helping set up a cancer clinical trial around the UK. I found my passion for writing while undertaking my Masters, which landed me a job at a global pharmaceutical and healthcare publishing company. There I was involved in researching and writing about all different drugs in development, and comparing them to what is currently best practice. Therapy areas that I have covered include cancer, HIV, gastrointestinal disorders, osteoporosis, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), allergy and obesity. I am consistently keeping up-to-date with developments in these fields, and would love to share my knowledge of current topics with others who are interested.

Being a mother, childrens' development and kids activities are also of great interest to me. This is the more fun side of my writing that I have expanded into, as I learn and grow as a parent.
